Big Walk and Wheel Challenge Prize Winners

Congratulations to our challenge champions!

During the Big Walk and Wheel Challenge, 3 local schools competed against each other across 4 weeks to travel to and from school as actively as possible.

Here is an overview of what you achieved:

  • 278 active journeys to school 🚲
  • 123 hours 
  • 436 miles 🛴
  • 119 kg of CO2 avoided, equivalent to an average petrol car being driven for 305 miles 🚘❌
  • 47,500 calories burned, equivalent to 182 average-sized chocolate bars. 🔥

Here is what was won:

£10 in National Book Tokens was won, for completing 50 activities or more, by:

  • St Joseph's Catholic Primary School
  • St Margaret’s C of E Junior School

£50 in National Book Tokens was won, for engaging the most staff and parents relatively to their school population, by St Joseph's Catholic Primary School.
